{"id":19669,"date":"2022-08-16T16:22:38","date_gmt":"2022-08-16T08:22:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monitex.com.tw\/?p=19669"},"modified":"2025-06-24T16:23:22","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T08:23:22","slug":"2022-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monitex.com.tw\/es\/2022\/08\/16\/2022-august\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 &#8211; August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 6<sup>th<\/sup>, Center of Disease Control (CDC) announced the third imported case of viral monkeypox in Taiwan.&nbsp; The CDC has officially designated monkeypox as a category 2 communicable disease since June 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.&nbsp; Following this new policy, the physician should report any suspected or confirmed cases of monkey pox to the CDC within 24 hours.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The World Health Organization (WHO) declared monkeypox a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on July 23<sup>rd<\/sup>. &nbsp;The obvious symptoms for the monkeypox are fever, swollen lymph nodes and skin rash.&nbsp; Besides, monkeypox will spread through a close contact with an infected animal or person.
