To anticipate of a massive influx of overseas Taiwanese during the Lunar New Year holiday, a new “7 plus 7” measures will be in effect from Dec. 14th 2021 to Feb. 14th 2022 announced by The Central Epidemic Command Center (Nov. 11th ). Under this program, those who have received the second dose of a COVID vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival will be able to reduce their hotel quarantine to seven days during the holiday, while the remaining seven days can then be spent at their place of residence. Monitex is planning to attend IDEM at Singapore next year. Less quarantine days are beneficial for us to return and work.
