2022 – July

Following by the worsening situation of global warming, extreme weather happens more frequently and is getting more intense than ever all over the world.  In these two days, the UK hit its highest temperature of 40.3C.  Besides, the ferocious heatwave mainly causes to the serious wildfire and death in southern France, Portugal, Spain and also Greece.

On July 21st, the mercury in eastern Taiwan, Hualien, also soared to a scorching 40.7 degree Celsius.  This temperature was the highest temperature recorded at any weather station in Taiwan.  Therefore, the Central Weather Bureau issued a red heat alert to four cities and an orange heat alert to the remaining cities among these days.

MONITEX hopes all of our friends and partners could look after yourselves in a hot weather.  Please remember to wear some sunscreen when staying in any outdoor occasions.   Also, kindly drink more water if you stay outsides, too.
